Ms. Austin’s professional expertise is the result of more than 20+ years of experience as a grants maker, cultural policy developer and nonprofit management consultant. Ms. Austin has a degree in English from Edgewood College/University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a graduate of the Howard University School of Law. Her experience includes coordinating projects for Coalition for a Drug-Free Community, the UK’s Greater London Authority and London Development Agency, YWCA, and Miami-Dade County’s Cultural Affairs and Park and Recreation Departments. Ms. Austin has generated more than $1million in resources, presented papers and lectures at major international conferences and universities on grants and proposals, arts marketing, arts and social change, cultural diversity, cultural advancement, arts administration, Americans with Disabilities Act and Business Practices for the Nonprofit Organization.

Gary C. Jones, Senior Consultant is a retired Vice President of Nationwide Insurance Company. As the Corporate Officer in charge of Sales Operation for Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina, Mr. Jones was responsible for the growth and retention of $670 million in property and casualty premiums. With senior corporate experience in management and supervision, recruitment, fiscal operations, promotions, financial auditing and corporate board operations, Mr. Jones brings a portfolio of experience in both the for-and non-profit corporate industries. Mr. Jones holds an MBA from Wayne State University.

Sydney S. Roberts, Consultant

Mr. Roberts has over thirty years experience in special and large event coordination including venue operations and management, promotions, and contract negotiations. A major international promoter of Caribbean cultural performance and exhibitions, Mr. Roberts holds a MS degree in Hospitality and Management from Florida International University, a BS degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and a second BS degree in Hospitality and Management from Florida International University.
